It was a Sunday (2nd Aug) and I slept at 4am that night. And mind you, I have 9am classes at Singapore Poly. If you guys do not know yet, I live in Pasir Ris and it takes me about 1hr 30mins just to get to school. If classes starts at 9, I would have to wake up latest 7am to reach school on time.
Only had 3hrs of sleep that night. And the following night, a Monday night, I slept at 3am. I was doing my homework and going through my project report. Monday nights are usually very stressful because there is a lot to do on Tuesdays.
So then on Tuesday, I slept at 4am again to finalize the report along side with my group leader. The rest of the members went to bed at 3am cuz they couldn't handle it anymore. My classes starts at 9am all the time except for Thursday.
I had a mini presentation for another module, then after school, I had a competition for the PACC module. It is sort of a supply and demand game and whoever earns the highest profit is the winner. Well obviously I didn't win any or I would have blogged about it. But anyway, after our competition, I had to head to the main library to carry on with my project. But I have not had anything yet so we went to put our bags down at the library then head to Food Court 3 for a meal.
There was a basketball match on the day itself as well. There were music blasting at FC3 because it is near to the basketball court. The music was catchy though, I kinda like it.
Sleep tends to affect my appetite. The lesser sleep I have, the lesser is my appetite. I could not even finish 2 prata on that day. I only had nutella waffle during break and that is all. But I enjoy my dinner because the atmosphere was good.
After dinner, we head back to the main library. In Singapore Poly, there are 2 library. One is the main library, another is the hilltop library. The hilltop library is for business students only while the main library is for every course except business.
Business students can go to the main library, its just that if they need any materials such as textbook, there is none at the main library. Vice versa for hilltop library.
My group consists of 6 people(group leader missing):
We divided ourselves. 2 check the report, 2 do the powerpoint slides, and the other 2 will focus on the prototype. I was the one doing the powerpoint. However, our report was not done hence my partner and I had to look through the report as well.
From previous experiences, I have come to realize that a few people is needed to check for it to be 100% perfect.
By perfect I mean consistent words such as 'ice-cream' and 'ice cream', 'flavours' and 'flavors'. Different people write it differently. If you all do not know yet, ice-cream is one word hence the hyphen is VERY MUCH NEEDED. I can't stand it if a report is full of vocabulary/grammar errors.
I am not trying to say that my vocab or grammar is exceptionally good, but all these simple stuff should be corrected to show our sincerity. If we just leave it as that, people will think that it is a slip-shot work or that we do not even put in the effort because we didn't check it a few times.
I know I definitely did tell my group mates how we are going to write our 'ice-cream' and 'flavors' but yet there are still some people choose to spell it differently. But it is ok, since we are going to check it all again when the report is done.
But then something screwed up and the report wasn't 100% the one we wanted our lecturer to see. Super annoyed right now.
But what's done is done and I can't rewind time so all I can do is hope for the best.
Stayed back in school till 1030pm on Wednesday night just to finish up and print the report. Reached home around 12am and had to wash up before our skype session for final presentation rehearsal. Did this until 230am then all of us went to sleep. Big Day tomorrow.
So here comes the LONG AWAITED PRESENTATION DAY.
It is a Thursday, so 8am class. Wasn't late this time but apparently many of my classmates are so my lecturer got really mad. Like who wouldn't? Duh.
It is a big day for everyone like me yet there are people who are late as shit. If this was a job interview, the job would definitely not go to them already.
Well, the presentation went well for my group till the Q&A part. I sort of screw it up by saying that the tingkat company caters to old people when my target market are the teenagers and young adults.
But anyway my group of efficient people managed to salvage it and yay!
I can only hope for the best. I hope that sentence would not affect me or my group. The presenting part is sort of okay? I think I was a bit monotonous again sigh, but I did had eye contact right?
Idk, anyway it is all over for that module but I have another one coming right up. It is the coming Wednesday.
