Tiring week

Firstly, this week is one of the worst weeks I've had. Let's start with Monday

School starts at 9pm and ends at 5pm. But after school, I have CCA. Last week I went for dance and netball trials and I got into netball. So the training is on every Monday and Wednesday, 6-9pm. The results for my dance trials is not out yet but I got a feeling that I would not get in. So my netball seniors told me that I was accepted and have to tell them my commitment to netball by Monday so I was extremely stress. If I told them I could not commit meant that I would have to leave netball, but what if I did not get into dance? That would leave me with no CCA and that meant a boring Poly life. So I went for the practice and told them I would stay. I realized that I was one of the lousier player because even though I have experience in netball, I do not play it as well as the others as netball is not my first CCA. I reached home around 10-11pm after the netball session. Being extremely tired and hungry, I came home and bathed while my mom cooked noodles for me. After eating, I went to blow dry my hair and immediately fall asleep on my bed. It was a really long and busy day for me.

Tuesday was just like the normal Tuesday, except I realized that my friend's birthday was the next day and we had nothing prepared. I also had to get my netball shoes because I can't be possibly playing in my expensive Nike! So I troubled my friend to get for me a chicken helium balloon and a cake. Had loads of work to complete but I had to wake up early to collect the balloon from my friend because his class starts at 8am while mine starts at 9am.

It was the day of my friend's birthday and I had to reach school early to collect the present. Was supposed to meet my friend at 7:45am before his class starts but I am late as usual. Hence I met him outside his class and apparently many people judged him because of the random chicken balloon. So I gave the balloon to my friend the first thing we saw him and WALLAHHHH

THE CHICKEN BECAME FAMOUS. Many people thought the chicken was real when they walked past because the chicken was like floating at their feet level. One guy even took a snapshot of the chicken and my friend and posted on snapchat with the caption "guy with a big cock", and even posted on twitter with the caption "guy whips out his big cock at SP Starbucks. #onlyinSP" LOL, REALLY MAJOR LOL. My friend was super embarrassed he was like covering the chicken with his jacket on the way home. His dad even told him why does he have such friends, why would they buy a chicken? HAHAHAHAHAHA idk but oh well, it was fun and definitely memorable. But it all ends because it is Wednesday. I have fricking netball practice. My whole body definitely still hurt and it hurts so bad. The netball session did not go smoothly as well and I really had the practice. After netball, I waited for Jiakai to end his skating CCA at SP's skatepark. Sat down after a long practice, my legs felt so good. Went home with Jiakai but I stopped at SengKang because my parents offered to fetched me home from SengKang. So I reached home around 1130pm and I have 8am classes the next day. My life sucks. Totally. I slept at 2am just to complete my econs homework. Extremely exhausted by the end of the day.

Went to school and almost fell asleep during lectures. Was so tired everyone could tell from my face even though I have no eyebags. Thursday was not really eventful but I decided to quit netball and just nice my netball captain told me the coach has decided not to take me in. Hallelujah! I am quite happy, but only regretful because I bought the shoes already.

Friday was nothing much, except I have an interview for SBA, School of Business Ambassadors. I think the interview went quite smoothly, I was not bad. They even made us come up with a cheer on the spot and video it down. There goes my reputation, ugh. Before the interview, we went to the school's main library to study and played with the photobooth there. Apparently all our pictures were not sent to us because of some technical issues, hence no photos here, sigh :(. I forgot to mention that I had planned events for my secondary school class as I was the welfare committee of my class!!! I told them I had no leadership skills so I doubt I can make it in.

Saturday, which is today. A really boring day. Woke up at 12pm, chatted with Jiesong on Line and then went online to watch advertisements for my project due the upcoming Monday. Nat and Zachus went to Toms N Toms cafe and I felt a little regretful not joining them. The food looked so delicious. While I am at home, stuck with my laptop and work. Today felt quite productive because I've done some work and I am planning to do more today. Planned to finish my econs homework today and revise tomorrow. Sigh, I am so tired. Saw the pictures of seniors graduating in my school and I can't wait to be like them even though this is only the 3rd week of school. I cannot wait to graduate!!! So worried for my GPA though.

I know I have to work hard and I must do my best. I have to learn to enjoy even the littlest things in life, learn to appreciate them. Do good deeds and good things will come my way. Patience is key. I have to be patient and not rush things. Be smart, be hardworking, that is my goal and I will achieve it some day.

HYPERDASH 2015!

Hyper Dash is an event similar to the amazing race but it is for every Polytechnic student in Singapore. Basically what we have to do is complete missions for each station and collect as many stamps as we can. Was really reluctant to come to this event actually because I am not the kind that would really go for such school events. However, my friend made me signed up and said it was really fun. She told me there were many freebies to collect as well.

We met at around 1045am at Lavender MRT station's kopitiam to have lunch before the race. It was not really lunch for me because I technically have yet to eat breakfast and it is still in the morning so all I bought was just a pork bun and mineral water. Obviously some people came late because apparently it was like 1120am and this person was still only at Serangoon MRT. After gathering everyone, we headed to the meeting location, the AXIS at Lavender road. We started the briefing around 12 and head out for the race at about 1230pm. At first I really still wasn't in the mood for the games yet so when everyone started running, I was only speed walking. But after the first few stations, we got so motivated so all of us started running at full speed to the next stations. Shaun was especially the fastest and the most enthusiastic guy, running around like a bull, he was that fast.

We had games like don't forget the lyrics, memory game, fear factor, charades, fill in the water while being blind folded, guessing lame jokes, buying 5 items under $4.20 at NTUC Fairprice and many more.

This was at one of our mission site. We are playing the fill in the water while someone is blind folded, so some of us have to wear plastic covers so as to not get us wet.

Overall all, the event was extremely exciting and we had so much fun. We collected more than 30 stamps and......

WE EMERGED CHAMPION AT THE END OF THE DAY!!!

They announced that we were the first and we literally from sitting down on the floor position, jumped up into the air and shout for joy. All our hard work paid off , all those running felt like I've burnt a thousand more calories. It just felt like i was running 2.4km but actually it was just a little while. I guess my stamina dropped a lot because it has been so long since I last ran.

We are the champion~
Our candid faces HAHAHA!

This is the reward we got for getting in first place. They told us it was worth up to $500 but I highly doubt so. Anyway, we got 12 Gold Class tickets at Golden Village and 12 Movenpick Chocolate ice-creams!! The feeling was so good at that moment and we were all so high at that point of time.

A snapchat video of us eating the ice-cream and celebrating, knowing that we were champions!

Group shot of Team 01!

It was such a great day today, not only because we won, but because we did this as a class, as a team. We are bonded so well today that it was easy to complete the missions. I would never regret going for this event, but I would not want to go again because it is too tiring. I cannot handle the hot weather and sweaty body feeling too!

Glad to have made some new friends during this bonding session and saw some old friends back at the event too. Although the opportunity cost for going to this event is huge and I might regret it, it was still fun and today made me realize that I should not waste time on people who do not care about me. I should love myself more than I love others. If somebody does not know how to appreciate you, let them go. It is no use keeping them by your side because ultimately, they will never change. From today onwards, I will stop thinking about people who do not appreciate me and start loving the people that stayed by my side.
