This post has been in my draft for so long. I wrote it in November but hadn't had the time to finish and edit it but finally it is the term break so here I am finishing what I've started. This is how it goes:
So done with this week, this semester, this term. So done.
So done with this week, this semester, this term. So done.

Why, you'd ask.
Well, I have a few things to address.
1) Lack of sleep
2) Packed schedules
3) Mom hospitalized
4) Club commitments
5) Singapore Polytechnic Open House
Firstly, I've been living the past few days with only 3 to 4 hours of sleep a day. I live in Pasir Ris and my school is all the way on the other side of Singapore. Well, hello from the other side. Can you even imagine how exhausted I am just to wake up 3 hours earlier before my class starts just to get ready and travel to school.
Feeling extremely tired and sleepy, I still had to squeeze with a bunch of people early in the morning. If I was waiting for the train and if the train that came was packed like sardines, I would wait for the next train even if I am running late. However, apparently some people just loves to squeeze in with the crowd, they end up almost getting squashed by the MRT doors and had to be pressed flat against the door at all times because that is just how much space is left for them. They may not mind squeezing with other people, but have they paused for a moment to think if the other passengers on the MRT would mind if a stranger stands so close to them and having to squeeze in the train early in the morning. I believe the interval of every MRT is short enough during peak hours so people should just wait for the next train instead of just pushing everyone just so they themselves can selfishly get in the train. I have been told many times that I have the resting bitch face and I believe that if I am lacking sleep, my facial expression will become worse. The reason why I hate taking public transport is because of this reason: squeezy. In the MRT, people just loves to squeeze beside you and those standing in the center of the cabin have to try their best to balance in order not to fall onto someone.
Secondly, I have been going home around 10pm to 12am lately due to school work. On Mondays, I would end around 1030pm and probably only reached home at 12am. I still have assignments and projects to be done. I just submitted my Management & Organizational Behavior Module Report today. On every Tuesday and Friday, I have Archery Tag which ends at 8pm. Wednesday is suppose to be the only free day whereby I do not have to stay back for anything, but I feared Wednesday is because classes starts at 8am every Wednesday. I have Yoga classes which is one of my modules for this Semester on Thursday.
In Week 4 of Semester 2, I had a group and we are supposed to play 2 games together to determine our marks for the CA1. I personally felt that the game was an ice-breaker among my team mates because we have a new member from another class in my group. The first game was to have a player throwing the ball into the respective baskets without facing the basket. One member is supposed to do it one at a time and the other members have to direct the member sitting on the chair to throw at which angle and how much force is needed. As for the second game, we are suppose to choose the materials to create the best protection for the balloon. We have to drop the balloon down from a certain height onto a thumb tack or needle and make sure it does not burst. There is a marble in the balloon to add weight to the balloon.
Then in Week 5, we had to create a mindmap and present it to my class as well as do peer teaching. The photo attached below is how our mindmap looks like.
Then in Week 6, we had to hand up a report based on the findings of our mindmaps. This is one of the reason why I only had 3 hours of sleep almost every night. Being the group leader is a huge responsibility as I had to be the one double checking everyone's work to make sure it is perfect. Not only do I have this one project, I also have a debate topic to research on as the presentation is coming up soon. I also have another project which requires me to search for a trend in Singapore and relate it to Accountancy. All these modules have deadlines so close to each other, I am really about to collapse any time soon.
Thirdly, my mom recently undergo an operation to remove lumps from her neck. The doctor says that she has to be hospitalized for at least 5 days hence I have been travelling to the hospital almost every day just to visit and spend time with her. I even brought oreo cheesecake for her to eat because she complained that the hospital food was really bland.
My mom's operation on her neck is really successful and she is recuperating so quickly. Get well soon Ma. :-)

I'm actually in Singapore Poly's School of Business Ambassador Club and we're really busy these days because of the open house. And that explains why I'm extremely lacked of sleep. I couldn't even finish typing this blogpost in one week because I am just that exhausted.
